It bothers me to see women set these unrealistic expectations and then drown in a sea of sorrow when they’re not met. To me, this behavior translates to “A guy must act the way I want him to, or else he’s useless.” When he fails to meet your expectations, you’re left feeling frustrated and betrayed. Have fun being alone for the rest of… forever/as long as you project your own desire for wholeness in an emotionally dependent search for men who won’t succumb to the imaginary world you created for yourself. It’s a classic case of looking to others to meet your unrealistic needs and only ending up unfulfilled with your own life.

Get off the pedestal you created. Any sensible guy will not constantly contact you and shower you with attention if you don’t take any of the responsibility upon yourself. Setting these overwhelming demands shows a lack confidence and your reliance on a significant other to fill the void of your unsatisfied needs. Of course, there are exceptions. If you find yourself initiating contact for the majority of the time, he must recognize that.
