I felt hip hop was dead 5-6 years ago. If only you guys knew how devastated I was. In high school the two artists I listened to constantly were Joe Budden and Lupe Fiasco. They were my favorite rappers and only two worthy of my ears. I’m beyond thankful for this year. “Lasers”, “The Wonder Years”, “Cole World: Sideline Story”, “Watch The Throne”, “Section.80”, “Camp”, “Take Care”. Hip hop is alive. Thank you, 2011.
